Furthermore, cyclical, free updates within a release, upgrades to new versions with an extended range of functions and new versions based on other operating systems or new versions of the previous operating system are offered.

We recommend operating etrago eTO ERP and eTO WEB in a secure data center environment and support you with installation, system requirements and maintenance. As an additional service, we offer shared hosting operation in the data center assigned by us. The storage capacity, RAM and CPU of the physical machine that serves as the hosting basis are shared among all etrago users.

Each website on a shared server can be accessed via an individual domain and is stored on its own partition of the hard disk storage. In this way, projects of different etrago users can be implemented separately from each other despite the shared hardware platform.

Of course, eTO can also be used in your in-house server landscape, provided that the requirements are suitable.

In principle, we offer two different contract models, license purchase or rental license.

In the case of license purchase, the software or its modules and user licenses are purchased in the currently available version at the start of use and can then be used by the customer without restriction and for an unlimited period. If required, further (additional) functions as well as customer-specific extensions/customizations can be added. The right to future versions is acquired with ongoing maintenance and support fees.

As part of a transaction-based rental license, the software never becomes the property of the customer, regardless of the period of use. Maintenance and support fees are included in the rental fees.

Rental is interesting for companies that are helped by standard versions, that have highly fluctuating usage or if an initial investment should be avoided.
